Sidney Meteyard (1868-1947)
Sidney Meteyard was a painter in oil, watercolor and tempera, as well as a designer of stained glass. He studied
at Birmingham School of Art under Edward R. Taylor and exhibited at the Royal Academy, Birmingham, Liverpool and the
Paris Salon.
All of his work shows a strong influence of Edward Burne-Jones.
